Rain is dreaded on wedding days. But to be honest I have a dreamy crush on rain. There is something magical and romantic about it. After all, kissing in the rain is one of the most iconic romance movie tropes of all time! Plus as they say, rain is exceptionally good luck.

Oh, how I love at-home engagement sessions. They are so sweet and fun and laid back. Jess and Chez have the cutest apartment in Toronto so naturally, we had to do their session there.

Today is a little grey and a little rainy outside. You know what always cheers me up on grey, rainy days? BUNNIES! This styled shoot is full of them!

There is so much that goes into a wedding, so much planning, so much love and time that goes towards your special day. It is so amazing to see more and more couples embracing eco-friendly practices throughout their wedding day. There is no reason why you can't have a fabulous wedding and also think about the Earth in the process.

Who needs a little warmth on this cold January day? I definitely do. This incredible styled shoot was planned and put together with that summer warmth in mind. Every bit of it is dripping in golden summer sunlight. I'm warmer just looking at it. 

Everything was set for the annual Fan Expo at The Metro Toronto Convention Centre and fate was about to take its course. Ginny and Dave were both planning on attending and little did they know their lives were about to change forever. Dave took one look at the girl who might just be on par with his fantastically geeky life and the rest is history.

Where do I even begin with this wedding? Emily and Scott were married in the sweetest ceremony at White Point Beach Resort in Nova Scotia.

The date was June 25th and a stylish wedding was taking place. Several years after meeting online, Mike and Matt were tying the knot in a beautiful downtown ceremony at Malaparte in Toronto.

Every couple is different and every wedding is different and whether or not you choose to do a first look is entirely up to who you are as a couple and how you want your wedding to play out. No one can make that decision for you. I can, however, tell you why I chose to go that route for my own wedding in November.
