Kyleigh and Peter | Belcroft Estates Wedding

Fun. That is definitely the right word. This couple and their whole bridal party was just so much fun!  First of all, check out the awesome space the groom and his men used to get ready! A fully outfitted vintage garage. The man cave. This place could not have fit in any more vintage memorabilia. Every square inch was covered in it. Not to mention a beautiful classic red car!

The whole wedding was beautiful and you could really tell how much the Peter and Kyleigh enjoyed each others company. Shot with Oak and Myrrh

Rachel and Matt | Homegrown Backyard Wedding

Early in the Fall I had an amazing opportunity to attend and photograph this adorable backyard wedding ceremony with Oak and Myrrh Photography. It was just about the sweetest thing I have ever witnessed! Love shooting through the air like sparks. The bride's dress was an unbelievably amazing and glittery Jenny Packham gown that she got for an absolute steal! Even though it was late September, it was a glorious day. The sun shining down. Barely a cloud in sight.

The ceremony was simple and beautiful and focused on the love they had for each other and the love of their families.

Love isn't something that you find. Love is something that finds you. - Loretta Young

Gothic Winter | Featured Styled Shoot

Its finally time to blog about this awesome styled shoot from this past winter. It was so much fun to put together and work on. We set out to create a gothic, vintage vibe. We started out with the image of blackberries in the snow and everything spiralled from there.  We incorporated vintage details like the 100 year old vintage wash stand and silver mirror. Throw in a blanket of snow and such perfect light and you have a recipe for perfection.

The beautiful flowers were designed and created by Aspen Florist, the gorgeous cupcakes by Honey Bunns Bakery and the hair and makeup were styled by Corrie Elle Artistry

Ely and Mira | Camp George Wedding

*Sigh* Precious, precious, precious! I loved every last minute of this adorable camp wedding. First on the adorable bracket, the wedding took place at the camp that the bride and groom met and grew up at together. So sweet right? There were so many sentimental details scattered throughout the day. Not even a bit of rain could dampen the festivities. They just broke out the rainbow umbrella!

Everything was so bright and colourful and their personalities oozed out of every detail. It was such an honour to photograph this wedding with Oak and Myrrh Photography

The groom is a producer, so etched on his ring is the voice pattern of his new wife reciting their Ketubah contract. So sweet! plus his brother got him two new knives and a bottle of whisky. Best brother in the world award.

There is something about being by the water that makes the world feel calm.

How unbelievably awesome is the bride's bouquet? It was crafted by the bride's friend and is made of little paper pinwheels

The chuppah was hand-made by the groom's mother. It was meticulously made and took several months. Also how cute are the bride and groom's brothers walking down the aisle together?

A few of their guests were deaf, so they provided an amazing sign language interpreter for every moment of the wedding!

I just adore this Jewish tradition of being surrounded by your close family during the ceremony. You can really feel the support of family all wrapped up around you.

They provided a camp survival kit for their guests. It included things like water bottles and ponchos for the rain.

The groom and his brother made their own craft beer for the wedding. Certified original.

There really is nothing quite like a Jewish Horah dance.

Congratulations Ely and Mira. It was a truly heartfelt and sentimental day.

Lanson and Naomi | King Street West Engagement

Does it get any cuter than this? I mean seriously. This engagement session was to die for. We started off at their favourite restaurant in the whole city, Wvrst on King Street West. Just chilling, having a few drinks. Naomi and Lanson were so comfortable around each other. Laughing and snuggling up to each other with no direction from me might I add.

Not surprising when you consider that they've been together for eight years! You'll love the way that he proposed too. They often go rock climbing together so Lanson saw his opportunity. Right when Naomi reached the top he dropped to one knee and yelled up at her that he wouldn't let her down unless she agreed to marry him. How can a girl say no to that? Luckily Naomi was all for it. I loved photographing this wonderful couple in one of their favourite spots in the city. There is just something so real and raw about them. Naomi and Lanson, I can't wait to photograph your wedding in August and see more of your love for each other shine out.
