Pam and Robin | Road Trip Engagement

I am back on the blogging train! Wedding season can be crazy but you know what makes it entirely 100% beyond worth it! Amazing couples like Pam and Robin. These two are just the sweetest. I never blogged their engagement session and I mean why not? They had the sweetest idea for their session. Something I always tell all my couples is that your engagement session will feel more personal and more comfortable if you choose an aspect that speaks to you and your relationship. With this in mind, Pam and Robin really wanted to incorporate their car into their session.

They often went on drives together, hung out and ordered take out to eat in their car. When I heard that I LOVED it. There is nothing more real than that. So we headed off to Frenchman's Bay in Pickering to capture some really fun memories. You can really tell through their photos that this is exactly who they are. The two of them loving life together. It was a dream to photograph their love.

Their wedding was also beyond amazing by the way. Check it out HERE

Heirloom

One of my favourite things to do is rifle through my parent's photo collection. They have boxes of photos all organized by the year. We pull each photo out and hold it in our hands and talk about the memories being held in ink and paper. Back in the day printing your photos was the only option. And because of that everyone has photos that they can pass down and preserve for future generations to see and enjoy.

The current generation is the most photographed of all time! We can whip out our phones and take a million photos but the truth is what happens to those photos? If they are not printed then they are lost. Printing your memories makes them tangible and solidifies their existence. What I want for my couples is to have their wedding memories be a part of their family for generations to come! Your wedding was a once in a lifetime event and the photos depicting that deserve more than to sit on your computer. With the ever evolving state of technology it is vital, now more than ever, to make sure your wedding photos exist in a format that won't turn obsolete.

I want to offer you heirloom products that will last the test of time. One day you and your grandkids can sit around on the sofa and flip through your album and it will spark memories of moments that defined who you turned out to be.

Choose an heirloom custom album to preserve your images. These are gorgeous flushmount albums with thick lay flat pages. The pages are buttery soft and when cared for properly will last and last. You will choose the images you want in your album that tell the story of your wedding day. Order the size you would like and have full control over the cover fabric and colour. You can even choose smaller sizes for your parents.

Another option is to choose a photo keepsake box. They come with 25 4x6 prints of your choosing. These are beautiful, high quality prints with a soft matte finish.

Book a consult with me to come and see these items in person. Nothing compares to being able to hold them and feel the quality for yourself. Let's bring your memories to life.

Sunset Pickering Park Family Session

Will you just look at this sweet family? They were so fun to photograph. Together we wandered around Alex Robertson Park in Pickering. Little Melanie was a little bundle of energy. And hilarious to boot. She chased the bubbles with reckless abandon and was fascinated by the bullrush fluffs. Plus check out her grumpy little face.

I love photographing families because it freezes a moment in time that you can keep forever. Littles won't stay little forever but the images of her laughter and their love will. That is a beautiful thing.

Jess and Chez | Toronto Apartment Engagement Session

Oh how I love at home engagement sessions. They are so sweet and fun and laid back. Jess and Chez have the cutest apartment in Toronto so naturally we had to do their session there. Hanging out, cuddling, paying board games. What is better than that?

Plus Jess and Chez were so cute together. I had the best time hanging out with them and wandering through their neighbourhood. It was crazy cold that day but it was too fun to even notice. Also, may I just gush about her amazing and unique engagement ring! It is vintage perfection.

Baby Oakland

Oh be still my heart! There is just something so mesmerizing about watching a new family. Capturing newborns in a relaxed and stress free way allows for just the cutest little expressions! Little Oakland was wide awake during our entire session. I mean completely awake, not even a yawn. Although he did seem perplexed by the entire situation his baby blues could melt everyone's heart. Not once did he cry.

I was able to hang out with Amanda, Ben and Oakland in their adorable home observing and capturing them together as a new family of three.
