Andrea and Mathias Berkeley Church Wedding

Andrea and Mathias really snuck their wedding in under the Covid wire. They were married in March 2020 right before Covid really hit. In fact I think the world went into lockdown the week after their wedding day. Talk about fortuitous timing. I am so glad that we were able to celebrate their wedding when we did because it was such a fun and magical day for everyone. Andrea and Mathias were married at Berkeley Church in Toronto. It is one of my favourite venues. You can even see more of their wedding featured on the Berkeley Events blog HERE.

One of my favourite parts of the day is the getting ready portion. This is the time I really get to capture you just hanging out with your friends and family. It’s a really chill part of the day and always results in some of my favourite photos. Their wedding was filled with so many fun details. From the illustrations on their invitations, to the Pi Day cookies at their reception. They filled the day with so many details that showcased their fun personalities. I loved their first look where they exchanged gifts. Andrea got Mathias a special spoon just for his peanut butter addiction.

Their reception was SO much fun and was filled with so many hilarious speeches and inside jokes. I don’t think anyone stopped laughing the whole evening. It was a joy and an honour to photograph this wedding before the world shut down.
