Miranda and Dave Claremont Backyard Wedding

There is just something special about backyard weddings isn’t there? Something so peaceful and intimate and cozy. Basically, everything that I love! What made this extra special for me is that Dave and Miranda chose to be married on their friend’s parent’s GORGEOUS property in Claremont. A property I myself spent a lot of time during my childhood. So it had a lot of memories for me as well.

After their STUNNING engagement shoot, I just knew that their wedding was going to blow me away and I was right. When Miranda told me the colour scheme I may have inwardly danced a little bit. Seafoam blue is such a beautiful choice and not one you see very often. The morning started off with the girls all getting ready together. Miranda is one of four girls so seeing them together was so much fun. Miranda’s sweet little niece was also there stealing the show.

They wouldn’t even let the intense heat of that day get them down. You would never ever know how hot it really was by looking at the glowing bride. She looked completely flawless all day long. The ceremony was another special moment as it was officiated by Miranda’s own dad. It always makes me emotional when weddings are officiated by friends and family of the couple. But especially a father who has such a privilege to be there for his daughter in this way. Luckily the temperature cooled down and the skies opened up just at the right time for their tented reception. It would not have been a more perfect day.
