One of my favourite things to do is rifle through my parent's photo collection. They have boxes of photos all organized by the year. We pull each photo out and hold it in our hands and talk about the memories being held in ink and paper. Back in the day printing your photos was the only option. And because of that everyone has photos that they can pass down and preserve for future generations to see and enjoy.

The current generation is the most photographed of all time! We can whip out our phones and take a million photos but the truth is what happens to those photos? If they are not printed then they are lost. Printing your memories makes them tangible and solidifies their existence. What I want for my couples is to have their wedding memories be a part of their family for generations to come! Your wedding was a once in a lifetime event and the photos depicting that deserve more than to sit on your computer. With the ever evolving state of technology it is vital, now more than ever, to make sure your wedding photos exist in a format that won't turn obsolete.

I want to offer you heirloom products that will last the test of time. One day you and your grandkids can sit around on the sofa and flip through your album and it will spark memories of moments that defined who you turned out to be.

Choose an heirloom custom album to preserve your images. These are gorgeous flushmount albums with thick lay flat pages. The pages are buttery soft and when cared for properly will last and last. You will choose the images you want in your album that tell the story of your wedding day. Order the size you would like and have full control over the cover fabric and colour. You can even choose smaller sizes for your parents.

Another option is to choose a photo keepsake box. They come with 25 4x6 prints of your choosing. These are beautiful, high quality prints with a soft matte finish.

Book a consult with me to come and see these items in person. Nothing compares to being able to hold them and feel the quality for yourself. Let's bring your memories to life.

Christine and Garrett | Portage Inn Huntsville Wedding

I have been so excited to share this particular wedding. Once you see it you will understand. Everything about Christine and Garrett's wedding at the Portage Inn in Muskoka was a total dream! Christine and Garrett first contacted me by sending me the best and longest inquiry email I've ever gotten that made me beam from ear to ear. It felt right away as if I already knew them.

The first time they met was at a party. They were both on a semester abroad in Western France. She was Canadian, he American. Her first impression of him wasn't great. She totally thought he was the frat boy type. However, it wasn't until after they left to head home that they started to chat online and after a stint in Asia for her she stopped in his hometown of SanFrancisco on the way home and the rest as they say is history.

Christine and Garrett knew that they wanted the focus of their wedding to be on their friends and family, so they chose a small intimate wedding in one of the most beautiful settings they could have possibly chosen. I mean will you take a look at those views!

Speaking of family. Garrett and Christine have the most beautiful little bird named Levi. Having him be a part of their day was so important to them. He hung out with Christine while she got ready and was all too happy to participate in photos. Christine and Garrett, I couldn't have had a more fabulous time at your wedding and I wish you an infinity years of intense happiness.

Pam and Robin | Doctors House Wedding

I have been so excited to blog this particular wedding. It was a super stunner! Pam and Robin were married at the Doctors House in Kleinburg. It is such a beautiful location and perfectly suited to their special day.

Their theme was amazing as well. 'A Starry Night' ultra romantic. Pam and Robin are high school sweethearts. They met at a family party where she noticed him first. He invited her to Wonderland with his friends and won her over with his unique combination of charm and humour. I mean he danced and sang for her during the reception. Years later and with their own little family they committed to forever.

You can see Pam and Robin's wedding featured in The Bridal Guide Canada Magazine 2018 Issue in Chapters & Indigo stores.

Mat and Misun | Brighton Convention Centre Wedding

Mat and Misun are just the sweetest. After such a gorgeous engagement shoot which you can see here, I knew they would pull out all the stops for their wedding. And boy did they. Also can you believe that a friend of hers did the flowers? She did such an amazing job they look so gorgeous.

Mat and Misun are absolutely meant to be together. From every soul bursting smile to the quick glances you could totally tell they are each others person. Their wedding was so sweet and authentic and nothing took away from the focus which was spending time with friends and family some of who had come all the way from Korea to be with them.

We started off the day taking photos at Historical Unionville. Which if you've ever been you know its unique charm can't be matched. It was the perfect place for this classic couple. Then they partied the night away and challenged each other to mini golf at the Brighton Convention Centre in Scarborough. And can their guests ever party!

We snuck outside for some sunset shots as well which always make me so happy. Can you believe that those photos were taken at the side of a busy road right beside a busy construction site? Sometimes its all about the angles. They were such troopers when I came up to them during the ceremony and said 'So, how adventurous are you feeling?' I think you can agree it was totally worth it.

Mat and Misun. I wish you a lifetime of pure unadulterated bliss as you walk through life together. You both deserve all the happiness in the world!

Xerxes and Mel: Bloomfield Gardens Wedding

You know what the best thing about photographing weddings is. I mean there are so many things, but I think my favourite is seeing all the lovely couples who are head over heels in love. Xerxes and Mel were the sweetest pair that you could really tell were meant to be together. They made each other laugh and moved together with a sense of ease and comfort.

Their wedding at Bloomfield gardens was just as dreamy as the two of them! Because seriously, Bloomfield is a dream. Flowers everywhere that you could smell the minute you arrived. Plus, take a good look at Mel's dress! It was so amazing and it suited her perfectly. Xerxes could hardly keep his eyes off of her. Their sweet little pup was excited to.
